With some manufacturers (ahem ... Selkirk) offering a no-crack warranty on their Pickleball balls, it makes you wonder if they've met the true ball busters of the game. This elite group of players takes banging to a whole new level, finding an opportunity in almost every shot to hit the ball with just sheer brute force. As a player, you can only hope that it goes into the net or 50 feet beyond the court. As a pickle ball, well ... it was nice playing with you.
These crushers on the court have graduated from being called a banger, and have earned the rank of a ball buster. And, their message to any company brave enough to guarantee they can't crack their balls ... well, they may ultimately find themselves in the same shoes as a video rental store that once underestimated the motivations of its customers.
